Remove Default Widgets from the WordPress Dashboard

Add the following code to your WordPress theme’s function.php file, or a functionality plugin to remove the default widgets from the WordPress dashboard.

	// Remove the incomming links widget

	// Remove right now
	unset($wp_meta_boxes['dashboard']['normal']['core']['dashboard_right_now']);
	unset($wp_meta_boxes['dashboard']['side']['core']['dashboard_primary']);
	unset($wp_meta_boxes['dashboard']['side']['core']['dashboard_secondary']);
