Find an A-list blogger to test your product and write about it
for their blog, and your publicity campaign can be off to a
roaring start.
Convince an influential author with a huge following to tweet
about your book, and it can result in a glut of orders.
But where do you find influential people? And how do you know the
difference between somebody who’s popular and somebody who’s
truly influential? An influential person is often in a position
to tell others what to do and actually convinces them to do it.
I’ll explain 11 places to find them during the five-webinar

Oprah’s new show on cable is tanking, and the news is equally
grim for O Magazine. In the first quarter of this year,
advertising pages were down a whopping 24 percent. O was the
biggest loser among women’s magazines.
Enter “Ellen” whose website has 20 ways you can get onto her
show. Most are of the silly “send us pics of your misspelled tattoos”
variety. But it might be worth checking out “Let Bethenny
Frankel Know What It’s Like to Be You.” If you have a job or
hobby that’s the complete opposite of the reality show star, and
you’d love to have her walk a day in your shoes, contact the
producers.

3. Now THIS is a Publicity Stunt

If you were walking in the middle of your town square and saw a
waist-high post with a red button on the top that said “Push to
add drama,” would you push it?
A Belgian TV channel staged a very clever prank which literally
