Wanted: Examples of Facebook Fan Page coupons

Facebook logoIf you use coupons on your Facebook Fan Pages, particularly if those coupons are bringing more leads and sales, I’d like to see them.

Include the link in the comment section below, explain how you created the created the coupon, and the results you’ve seen.

I’m looking for examples for a course I’m teaching. I’m familiar with coupons used by the big companies like Coke and Zappos. But I’m particularly interested in those used by entrepreneurs and small businesses.

We used a“select your discount” coupon on the MARVAC (The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds)Facebook page for one of the association’s RV shows, and made the coupon visible only to those who liked the page (creating more of an incentive to “like” the page). For this particular RV show, there was a 40% increase in attendance over previous years. We were obviously thrilled with the outcome, although it’s difficult to measure how much of the increased attendance was due to the Facebook coupon because we did place it in area newspapers as well. Either way, the coupon worked well for us and we integrated it into our Facebook page. MARVAC is a smaller company, so we’re pleased with the amount of people who have taken interest to the page, and how it continues to grow.

    Joan:

We have actually created a Facebook coupons solution for small businesses. It’s called BargainFlare. We basically built a tab that is plugged into an existing business’ Facebook fanpage (or we create a Fanpage for them). There is an admin panel that allows businesses to post coupons, contests, limited offers as many times as they want. It’s extremely affordable so that the local business owner can take advantage of this concept.

Feel free to reach out to me at sharrington@bargainflare.com to further discuss or check out http://www.facebook.com/bargainflare or one of our clients at http://www.facebook.com/kababbistro

    Hope this helps.

    Sean,
Glad to find your product. Only problem is I can’t see any of the offers – does it just take a long time to load or does it work in Firefox?
    Thanks
    Janet

    Janet:

Sorry for the inconvenience in not being able to upload our page. It was down a few times this week due to some modifications. You should have no problem in Firefox now http://www.Facebook.com/bargainflare. Thanks!
