I’ll be wearing my Cheesehead hat during tomorrow’s big Packers
game against San Francisco, and scanning the field for hunky Clay
Matthews. Even Clay wears a Cheesehead hat.

1. No Demo Video? No Problem
======================================
You’ve seen me promote a variety of webinars on how to get onto
the big TV talk shows like “Good Morning America” and the “Today”
show.
Problem is, those shows are very picky about who they book. And
one of the prerequisites for many of those shows is a demo video.
That is, they want to see a segment in which you’ve already
appeared–either on a talk show in a much smaller market or as
part of a news story.
If you don’t have TV experience, producers, are reluctant to
“take a chance” that you’ll bomb or freeze up in front of the
cameras.
Here’s a way to get that experience.
Pitch yourself in small TV markets, on small TV talk shows and in
communities where there isn’t a lot of competition for guests.
Life coach Clint Arthur has booked more than 37 TV interviews
since Jan. 1, 2010. He’s been on news shows discussing how to
double your income. He’s been on food shows demonstrating how to
make gourmet treats from microwave popcorn. And in some of the
segments, he’s even shown with his book propped up on the coffee
table right in front of him and the interviewer.
He’s a master at using his experience on these shows to book the
next one. And he’s teaming up with Daniel Hall to present his
tips during a free webinar I’m hosting at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on
Thursday, Sept. 13.
Authors, speakers and experts will learn how to pitch, how to use
appearances to sell anything from books to real estate, how to
parlay one media success onto another for a shot at the national
shows, and why Clint things that TV media beats social media
every time.

2. LinkedIn’s New Company Pages
=====================================
LinkedIn is rolling out a new design for Company Pages, and in
the next few weeks, you should notice that yours has changed.
No growling, Hounds. This is wonderful news.
You can now easily showcase your company’s products, services and
career opportunites on the more prominent Company Updates and
Products & Services sections.
You’ll also be able to add a cover-style image at the top of the
page that represents your company or brand. And people using the
iPhone, Android and iPad apps will now be able to see your pages.
LinkedIn announced other changes, too, on Thursday at its blog.
During the LinkedIn webinar I hosted last week, Wayne Breitbarth
explained numerous ways to make your Company Pages really work
for you. His tips dovetail perfectly with the new design. You’d
be crazy not to take advantage of Company Pages, which are like
giant free ads.
If you missed the webinar, you can order the video replay and all
the bonuses.
If you registered for the webinar and didn’t receive the link for
the download page, check your spam folder. Or hit “Reply” and let
me know.
