This Weekend in the Hound House:
It’s Fish Day tomorrow in Port Washington, Wis., where we’re having “The World’s Largest One-Day Outdoor Fish Fry” on the shores of Lake Michigan. Truth is, there’s way more beer than fish, and people wouldn’t have it any other way. Like lots of other locals who don’t want to battle the traffic or the drunks, I’m getting out of Dodge.
1. Complete iPad Video Webinar Replay
If you held off watching the shorter replay of the webinar I hosted with Mike Stewart, on how to shoot video using the iPad and a $5 app, you can now watch the complete version that has answers to all the questions Publicity Hound asked. If you attended live, you can watch it again as a refresher.
I’m using a new replay system called Stealth Webinar, which lets you sign up to watch the replay at one of six times and dates when it’s most convenient for you. All these times are in the Eastern Time Zone:
–10 a.m. Saturday, July 20 (today)
–9 p.m. Sunday, July 21
–10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23
–6 p.m. Thursday, July 25
–10 a.m. Friday, July 26
–10 a.m. Saturday, July 27
After you sign up, Stealth Webinar will send you periodic email reminders.
The several hundred Publicity Hounds who were on this call live howled with delight. They loved Mike. They loved the training. And many of them already have received their free caddy buddies and they’re shooting videos for YouTube.
Watch the short video I created for you and pick your choice of times.
If you took Mike’s training and you’ve already created video with the iPad, send me the link!
2. Media Lead
A reporter at a national publication is writing about how it takes about two years to completely recover from an emotional trauma such as a divorce, relationship breakup, job loss, friendship loss, etc.and she’s looking for people to interview.
Have you ever spent significant time recovering from an emotional upset? What was it—-and how long did it take to really feel like yourself again? What did you do to facilitate the healing?
Did knowing that it would take time to heal make you feel better or worse? Did you try to accept that you had to go through a process that would take time?) Do you have any advice for others on how to heal from the grief of an emotional trauma? (She is not writing about trauma from the death of a loved one.)
If you have personal stories to tell about this topic, please respond ASAP (the sooner the better) with details and contact information to aceb5@aol.com. Anyone interviewed must be willing to use his or her name in print.
