Commenting in LinkedIn Groups? Link to your blog

A hat tip to Jose Nieves, a fellow member of the Problogger Professional Bloggers group on LinkedIn, for this fabulous tip about how to pull more traffic from within groups to your blog or website. You can find him at CreateaBloginMinutes.com.

Type the URL under your signature. Is this simple, or what?

Here’s a way to make it even easier. Use a macro program like Shortkeys. I just created a Shortkey called ligroups which stands for LinkedIn Groups. All I have to do is type ##ligroups—only 10 keystrokes— and my signature, as seen here, flows into the bottom of the comment:

This makes it easy for readers to just click on the link and go directly to my website.
