Host a teleseminar and sell it as a product

If you aren’t hosting telephone seminars for your clients and customers, you’re missing a valuable marketing tool. Here are some of the ways you can use these fast, easy and inexpensive learning tools, more commonly referred to as “teleseminars.”

–Use them to build customer loyalty. You can offer them for free and explain how customers can better use a particular product or service.

–Record them and sell them afterward as a product, like I do.

–If you’re contacted by a reporter who wants information on a complicated topic, and you’ve done a teleseminar around that topic, you can offer the teleseminar recording to them as background.

–You can record a teleseminar, reproduce it as a product, then give it away. You can mention the f~reebie in news releases. Or offer it as an incentive for people to sign up for your ezine. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of duplicating CDs and tapes and shipping them, provide an edited transcript like I do. A good shopping cart can send the transcript to them automatically. For information on what to look for when choosing a shopping cart at your website, download a f~ree ebook.

–Savvy authors host teleseminars around their topic to promote their next book.

–You can even offer teleseminars as a subscription series if you do coaching or consulting.

Dan Janal, who owns GreatTeleseminars, was my guest on a teleseminar we did called “How to Host Teleseminars and Sell Them as Profitable Products.”
