Press Release Tip 84

Press Release Tip 84

Follow directions

Regardless of what press release distribution service you end up using, remember to follow directions carefully when submitting your press release at their website.

If they ask you for keywords you want associated with your press release, don’t skip that vital step because it’s one more way the search engines will be able to find your release.

Finally, don’t forget to have someone proofread your release.  Like most people, I can’t catch my own mistakes, especially if I’ve written and rewritten a release many times. Recruit a proofreading buddy and review each others’ press releases and marketing copy. You can probably find one among your social media followers.  Learn more about proofreading in the next lesson.

Opportunity #84 to write a press release: Weather-related news

The weather happens 365 days a year. Many days, it’s one of the major topics of conversation online and offline. Do you have expertise to offer about hot weather, like how to keep pets from getting dehydrated or heat stroke? Or how to avoid back injuries while shoveling snow? My “Special Report #37: How to Tie Your Product, Service, Cause or Issue to the Weather” shows you how to come up with fun, interesting and helpful weather-related angles for your product, service, cause, issue or expertise. Only $7. Order here.

Best Deal: You can get my entire Value Pack of 52 special reports for only $97, a savings of $267 if purchased individually. See the entire list of titles and order here.

Next: You’ll begin Module 13 and learn what to do with your press release after you’ve written it.
