Here’s what really rankles journalists about bad pitches:<\/p>\n
–People addressing them by a wrong first name.<\/p>\n
–Spin. Lots and lots of spin.<\/p>\n
–Pitches sent from an AOL or Hotmail account which also sends
\nthe message, “I’m cheap.”<\/p>\n
–Never-ending follow-ups.<\/p>\n
–Misspelling the name of the journalist’s media outlet.<\/p>\n
