How to Find Your Target Market<br \/>\n==================================<\/p>\n<p>A survey I conducted last year showed a surprising number of<br \/>\nPublicity Hounds don&#8217;t know how to reach their target market<br \/>\nduring a publicity campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Respondents complained about press releases that generate zero<br \/>\npublicity and hardly any traffic.  They said their pitches result<br \/>\nin no callbacks or email replies from journalists.  They spend<br \/>\nhours on the social media sites writing status updates, but they<br \/>\nreceive too few Likes and almost no comments.<\/p>\n<p>One of the secrets of finding your target market is that you must<br \/>\nknow where to look for THEM but also make it easy for THEM to<br \/>\nfind YOU.
