I’ve been\u00a0tagged by blogger Denise Wakeman,<\/a> half of The Blog Squad,\u00a0in a fun\u00a0Internet game of tag\u00a0designed to introduce bloggers to each other and bring more traffic to our blogs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

1. In 1970, I was\u00a0the first girl to win a sports letter at Lumen Cordium High School in Bedford, Ohio, an all-girls Catholic high school.<\/p>\n

2. I rode on a sleigh pulled by reindeer\u00a0in Finland.\u00a0<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0When I worked as a reporter in Ohio, I went to the bottom of a Morton Salt Co.\u00a0mine to write about what it’s like to be a miner. Did you know they ride around down there on golf carts?\u00a0<\/p>\n

4. In my office, I have a\u00a0die-cast scale model of my first car, a white 1963 Chevy Nova,\u00a0affectionally referred to as “The White Tornado.”<\/p>\n

5. I’m a biker babe. In the summer, there’s nothing better than riding on the back of a\u00a0Gold Wing, taking in the sights and smells of the\u00a0Wisconsin countryside.<\/p>\n
