After putting on a show in the spring, these white beauties bloom again in the fall. Gorgeous.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>1. Big Changes in LinkedIn Groups<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6048\" src=\"https:\/\/purelysupp.com\/publicity\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2015\/10\/LinkedIn-Groups-300-300x118.jpg\" alt=\"LinkedIn-Groups-300\" width=\"300\" height=\"118\" \/><\/p>\n<p>LinkedIn users are grousing about some of the changes LinkedIn has made to its Groups. Here&#8217;s a quick summary of the major ones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All groups are now private, members-only groups. You can&#8217;t see conversations unless you join. Conversations also will be blocked from Google search. \u00a0\n<\/li>\n<li>You can now reference other group members and bring them into a conversation by typing &#8220;@&#8221; followed by the group member&#8217;s name. Great for asking influencers to jump in.\n<\/li>\n<li>Conversations are posted instantly. This is bad news for group moderators who are complaining about losing control. They&#8217;re left to clean up the mess after inconsiderate members have spammed the group. <br \/>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The Promotions tab is gone. Good riddance. Did anyone read this pap?\n<\/li>\n<li>You can now post images in conversations, a nice addition. Don&#8217;t abuse it with blatant billboards that say &#8220;buy my stuff.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Read all the changes in the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.linkedin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LinkedIn Help Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>2. How to Find Readers for Your Book<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6049\" src=\"https:\/\/purelysupp.com\/publicity\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2015\/10\/binoculars300-300x182.jpg\" alt=\"binoculars300\" width=\"300\" height=\"182\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t wait until a few months before you launch your book to ask, &#8220;Where can I find the target audience for my book?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Your readers are tucked away in special interest groups, reviewing and recommending books on sites like Goodreads. <\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re taking classes in adult ed programs in your community.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re meeting once a month in local book clubs.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re reviewing books for ezines and blogs they publish.<\/p>\n<p>And many of them would love to know about you. I&#8217;m leaving plenty of time for questions, too, so bring them.<\/p>\n<h3>3. iTunes Podcast Directory<\/h3>\n<p>One of the most valuable free directories for Publicity Hounds, and one of the hardest to find, is the <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/genre\/podcasts\/id26?mt=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iTunes Podcast Directory<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>It includes thousands of podcasters. Many have loyal listeners and would love to interview you for their show.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Click on the podcast and listen to at least one show so you get a good feel for how they interview. Go to the left side of the page under Links and click on &#8220;Podcast Website&#8221; where you&#8217;ll often find contact information for pitching the podcaster.<\/p>\n<h3>4. Hound Video of the Week<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6050\" src=\"https:\/\/purelysupp.com\/publicity\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2015\/10\/Dog-Shaming-Video-Confessions-YouTube-2015-10-19-15-48-07-300x198.jpeg\" alt=\"Dog Shaming--Video Confessions - YouTube 2015-10-19 15-48-07\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Has your dog something naughty? This service will shame your dog by creating its own video confession.
