The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelchannel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Travel Channel<\/a> does stories on things like factory tours. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.history.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">History Channel<\/a> has covered the process of how foods are made.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;Partner with local restaurants\u00a0that are using your product. This is a great strategy if you&#8217;re trying to pitch\u00a0to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicityhound.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">get into\u00a0business journals<\/a>\u00a0published by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American City Business Journals<\/a> or business magazines.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;Pitch food trend stories to lifestyle sections and programs such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ivillage.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iVillage.<\/a> They have big news holes to fill.<\/p>\n<p>On the CD &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicityhound.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Publicity Tips for \u00a0Restaurants, Chefs &amp; Foodies<\/a>,&#8221; I\u00a0mention other pitching tips:<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;Don&#8217;t forget talk radio shows.\u00a0National Public Radio probably has dozens of shows that might be a good fit with food stories.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;Write articles about your product for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oxbridge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">print newsletters<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/new-list.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ezines.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8212;If you can tie your food story to tourism in cities served by airlines,\u00a0pitch in-flight magazines.
