Because the people who pitched them are too lazy to read the blog. They&#8217;re scraping email addresses from wherever they can find them and throwing any old thing against the wall to see what sticks. In the process, they&#8217;re embarrassing themselves.<\/p>\n<p>These pitches usually start with the salutation &#8220;Hello&#8221; because they didn&#8217;t bother to do 30 seconds worth of research so they can address me by my name.
