Thanks for all the ideas on how to arm myself for combat against
\nthe rabbits and the Boxelder bugs. The most unusual suggestion
\nfor dealing with the rabbits was from Publicity Hound Connie
\nOswald Stofko: Use a Bounce dryer sheet attached to a wooden
\nstick about one foot high. Almost everyone told me to ignore the
\nBoxelders, those harmless bugs that are napping atop each other
\non the south side of the house. Publicity Hound Judith Bron
\nrecommended placing whole or sliced onions on my porch to get rid
\nof the bugs, or in the garden to repel the rabbits. Onward
\nsoldiers!<\/p>\n

Lots of people, me included, said Google+ would fail as a social
\nmedia platform when it debuted two years ago. That was partially
\nbecause sexy Pinterest and the ubiquitous Facebook were stealing
\nthe spotlight. Boy, were we wrong!<\/p>\n
Today, Google+ is the second largest social network, with 400
\nmillion members.<\/p>\n
Here’s the kicker: It’s also the backbone of Google, the world’s
\nlargest and most respected search engine. That’s why Google+ is
\none the most powerful tools you can use to promote your
\nexpertise, build a community, manage your friends, find content
\nto share, and join the conversation.<\/p>\n
Social media strategist BL Ochman, who’s hooked on Google+, says
\nparticipating in it, as an individual or a brand, is no longer an
\noption. Google+ profiles and content, she says, are now part of
\nGoogle’s new search algorithm.<\/p>\n
