They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;While doing an hour-long NPR show in Dallas, TX (we were in Hawaii!) the cordless phone we had borrowed (so that we could both be on the phone) went DEAD!\u00a0I was left to finish the interview by myself and had to confess to Phil&#8217;s absence&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;While doing another show from home, the yard maintenance people for our homeowners association decided it was time to blow the leaves from the flower beds right next to our house!\u00a0No matter where we moved in the house, the noise followed us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;I got rid of call waiting for just the reason you described.\u00a0 Much more professional to have your calls go to voice mail and retrieve them later!
