Several month sago,\u00a0she pitched the morning TV talk shows on behalf of her client,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.shopfatcat.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FatCatInc.com<\/a>,\u00a0 which makes pet toys. To make the story more enticing, she offered photos of other pet-related items with a political twist, including those from PoliticalPartyPets.com and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ruffruffandmeow.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RuffRuffandMeow.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Publicity Hound Lisa Solomon of Political Party Pets emailed me yesterday and was shocked that her company was mentioned during a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.today.com\/id\/26184891\/vp\/18424824\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">six-minute segment <\/a>on political items on the &#8220;Today&#8221; show yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Liz contacted me six weeks ago and\u00a0asked me to send her some high-resolution images of the Political Party Pets items to include in her pitch,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Her pitches also resulted in getting my company exposure in a Florida newspaper and on a Florida morning TV show. She rocks!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Liz&#8217;s strategy, which also got her client onto\u00a0the third hour of\u00a0&#8220;Good Morning America&#8221; on the Internet,\u00a0\u00a0was incredibly smart and follows the advice given by Lissa Warren, who was my guest during a teleseminar on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicityhound.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;How to Get onto the Morning TV Talk Shows.&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0If you&#8217;re\u00a0pitching those\u00a0shows, or any journalists or broadcasters for that matter, make their job easy.
