For many of us, part of the problem is that\u00a0we&#8217;re generating so much copy for the social media sites that we often neglect our own websites.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve rectified the problem\u00a0by adding social media logos and hyperlinks to my profiles on the right side of the homepage, just under my photo. They&#8217;re identical to the logos and links in my weekly ezine, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicityhound.com\" target=\"_blank\">The Publicity Hound&#8217;s Tips of the Week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are other places where you should be telling people where to find you on the social media sites:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In your online press room.<\/li>\n<li>On product packages.<\/li>\n<li>On invoices.<\/li>\n<li>On your <a href=\"https:\/\/accounts.google.com\/ServiceLogin?service=oz&amp;passive=1209600&amp;continue=https:\/\/plus.google.com\/?gpsrc%3Dgplp0%26partnerid%3Dgplp0\" target=\"_blank\">Google profile<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>In your\u00a0print or email newsletter.<\/li>\n<li>Cross-promote from individual social media sites.<\/li>\n<li>At your blog.<\/li>\n<li>In your bios.<\/li>\n<li>In handouts, if you&#8217;re a speaker.<\/li>\n<li>On your book jackets, if you&#8217;re an author.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s a short list. Can you add to it?
