By the end of the summer, your dog should be able to start sending messages from his own Twitter account.<\/p>\n
It’s called Puppy Tweets<\/a> and it’s made by Mattel.<\/p>\n The package includes a plastic tag with a sound and motion sensor that attaches to the dog’s collar.\u00a0 Connect the USB receiver to your computer.\u00a0 Download the software, and then create a Twitter account for your dog.<\/p>\n The sensor looks like a dog tag and comes in pink or blue.\u00a0 It contains a microphone to pick up any sounds your dog is making. The motion sensor detects movement as your dog walks, or runs, throughout the house.\u00a0 Based on the sound and motion readings, the program guesses what the dog is doing and informs you of his activities via tweets.<\/p>\n The tag is programmed with a series of 500 pre-programmed tweets. So if he’s running around, you might get a tweet that says “I finally caught that tail I’ve been chasing and…OOUUUCHH!” Or if he’s quiet and the sensor detects a little movement, the tweet might say, “Guess what I’m licking?”<\/p>\n Puppy Tweets is expected to retail for about $40.<\/p>\n Will you get one?<\/p>\n Not me.
